Olive Garden

I went to Olive Garden, and it was six o'clock, so there was a 45 to 60 minute wait. To the bar! It was quite fun watching the bartender make all sorts of drinks. I also was jealous of their industrial blender. After sitting there sipping some overpriced drinks, a guy and a girl, presumably a couple, took two vacant seats next to me. I watched the bartender as she prepared a drink for the girl -- Kahula mmm... Baily's mmm... Amareto mmm. And then she put it all in a blender with some ice cream. Added some decorative chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass, blend, and pour. "Mmm, I said." That looks good." When the girl to my left got her drink, I asked her what it was called. "Chocolate Almond Amore," she said. She then got an extra straw and passed it to me and said, "Try it." Really, are you kidding? Some random girl offers for me to try her drink? Doesn't she have a boyfriend right there? What would he think? Who does that? It was an awkward moment, but I couldn't refuse after she went through the trouble of getting that extra straw, and it looked damn good. Well, it was, and I'll probably get one next time. Or just make it myself.
