That's a Lot of Cell Phones!
According to this article, there are more cell phone subscriptions in Sweeden than people (9.07 million vs. 8.98 million). Wow! The article explains that this is likely due to the fact that most people have one cell phone for personal use and one for work. The tally for land line phones is only 5.4 million. I'm curious to know what the ratios for the US are, but I'm too lazy to do the research. It's amazing how cell phone usage has exploded over the past decade. It seems as though the Swedes are a bit more advanced than us. I also hear that cell phone technology is much more advanced in Europe.
