The Order of the Phoenix
Just minutes ago and 870 pages later, I've finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Once again, I've been wowed by the literary genious, Jo Rowling. That's all I'll say for now because I need time to process all that I've taken in, and besides, I have about a 16-hour day tomorrow, so I need to get to bed. Thank you, Ms. Rowling.

Holiday Pay
Apparently I get paid for holidays. I got my pay stub today (the funds will get deposited directly into my bank account tomorrow) and I got paid for eight hours on the 4th of July. Awesome!

Cold
Have I mentioned how cold it is in the room where I work? Well, it is. Today, when I opened the door to the room, the cold air started rushing out of the room. So, I propped the door open so as not to freeze my butt off and let some of this cold air out. It's warmed up a little bit by now, but I was still cold with a sweatshirt on (which I brought in a while ago and left here for the cold days, which are most). Occasionally, there have been days when it was a bit warm and humid, but I'd rather that than my hands and nose going numb (they have) and having to wear a sweatshirt. By the way, there is a thermostat, if you want to call it that, but it seems to completely disreguard what I set it at. The only markings it has are Cool and Warm.

Fly
For lack of anything else to say, or, rather, lack of motivation:
Me: dammit
Rob: why?
Me: there's this fucking fly
Me: it keeps buzzing around
Rob: hahaha
Rob: oh poor you
Me: but it only lands on my monitor and I don't want to get fly guts all over the glass.
I hope you readers appreciate the effort I put into the font colors.
