Long Day

After a sixteen hour day, I'm finally back at my apartment. And my car is partially fixed and completely driveable. I had to go out and have some fun after getting my car back. I went to a Rochester Amerks hockey game and for some pizza and a drink after (thanks Janice, it was fun). It got my mind off all the crap I had to deal with today concerning the car. Thank God this week and this day are over. Time for bed. Don't wake me until Monday.

Found It

I just found the wallet that I thought I left at an ATM on May 22, 2002. I found it at the bottom of a medium-sized gift bag that I had filled with some candy, cough drops, and other random stuff that I threw in there while getting ready to move to my new apartment. So nobody ever got my credit cards, school ID, driver's license, and most importantly, my Social Security Card. What a relief. I had to deal with this stupid fraud alert on my Soc. number/ credit for all these months for nothing. Oh, and there were a bunch of gift cards in it. Yay! I can't flippin' believe it. *Sigh of relief*

Lunchtime Outing

I meant to go to the post office this morning at 9:00 after my class was over, but I forgot. I remembered around lunchtime that I had to mail some things. I drove over there through the slop and slush and after multiple windshield washings I made it. I could have just dropped the things in the drive up mailbox, but I wanted to take them inside because they'd go directly in the bin (right?). I of course had gloves on because it's frigid out there and envelopes in hand I got out of my car and the wind just swept by and pulled them right out of my hand taking them to the wet, sloppy, and dirty ground. Ugh. What a mess. When will spring be here?

Then on the way back I stopped at Subway and experienced an ultra efficient human assembly line that got me in and out of there in about three minutes--one person to take my order and cut the bread, another to add meat and cheese, another to add all the other toppings I wanted, and finally someone to check me out. Impressive! (For those who are interested, I got turkey and ham on whole wheat with Provolone, lettuce, black olives, sweet peppers, pickles, and honey mustard.) The only thing that slowed the process down was my indecisiveness (go figure). It was yummy.

Car Care Myths

Here's some useful information on car maintenence. I knew you couldn't possibly need an oil change every 3,000 miles.

Programming Methodologies

So, I just finished my last final exam for the Winter quarter, and it's time to let off some steam. From User Friendy:

Oddly enough, my bloody PLC professor brought this to my attention, and let me tell you, he's lucky he's getting a link because our test was horrible. Anyhow, it's all over now. Yay!
