Lip Service

My lips are constantly chapped. I usually carry lip balm (I usually call it chap stick, but I'm not referring to the Chap Stick brand) with me, especially during the winter months. This is because I often breathe through my mouth due to my allergies, which cause my nose to be blocked. Anyhow, I've been servicing my chapped lips with Blistex Herbal Answer for about two years now and have been very satisfied.

But last Thursday, I stopped at Wegman's and my lips were feeling quite chapped so I looked for some lip balm. Though I didn't look too hard, all I found that looked decent was Blistex Clear Advance. Well, I ended up using it all weekend because I couldn't find my Herbal Answer and it destroyed my lips. I just thought it was because of the cold/rainy/windy/snowy weather, but after 3 days my lips were terrible. So I picked up my trusted friend, good ol' Herbal Answer, and sure enough, the lips are doing much better. There must be an ingredient in that Clear Advance that I'm allergic to or just irritated my lips. I though I could trust it because it was another Blistex product. Wrong I was.

Alcoholic Personality, etc.

I don't normally do these things, but I'm home for Thanksgiving and I was bored.

I'm a martini!
CONGRATS!

You're a MARTINI!

Rich, and refined you're smooth and saucy. You're the butter on the bread, the lube on the hinge, the Teflon on the pan.

Discover your ALcoHoLiC personality! Thanks Maria for the link -- we will have to enjoy one together over the break since we're both so smooth and saucy.

Happy Birthday to Sean and Nana! Here's to another great year!

New Osbournes

The second season of The Osbournes started today. Ozzy and family haven't changed. Ozzy's stumbling and mumbling; Sharon's bossing Ozzy around; Jack and Kelly are fighting. Sharon and Ozzy went to Washington, DC for some dinner with the president. As they were driving past all the landmarks, Sharon pointed at the Lincoln Memorial and...

Sharon: "What's that?"
Ozzy: "It's a fort."

Yeah, a *beep*-ing fort, alright. Love that show.
